I’m Dmitri Tchoubraev, manager, software and electrical engineer for complex cases, like digitalisation, integration and automation for power utilities.

Dr. sc. techn., more than twenty years of experience in power and energy area.
Main focus is analysis and development of technical, operational and organisational concepts as well as architecture, design, development and operation of the highly-automated and highly-integrated power utilities’ and industrial systems. This includes process integration, automation, modelling, analysis, optimisation and visualisation, combining the modern modelling techniques and industry-leading IT solutions.
Technical background as an electrical and software engineer, led numerous projects (500-3000 kCHF) and overtook various management roles in the industry, proving to be able to build up highly motivated teams of specialists and lead them over the longer time periods.
Profound knowledge of TSO, power utilities and other industrial processes and solutions.
Worked in different international projects and working groups – for industrial companies, as well as for the European power utilities and ENTSO-E.
Since 2016 teach a CAS module „IT Systems for Power Grid Operators“ at the Fachhochschule Fribourg.
From 2004 to 2014 gave the course on the IT-Solutions for the Power Utilities at the State Technical University in St. Petersburg as a Guest Assistant Professor.
Previous experience as Product Development Manager and Research Engineer.
First-hand experience in the processes of complex IT-Systems implementations, starting with research, through product development and system engineering up to the provision of the actual service at the business and IT side.
Author of one book and author and co-author of 29 papers.
Senior Member IEEE and Member of CIGRE.
